Independence Day is just around the corner, and the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History has two incredible ways to celebrate! Whether you're looking for a premium parade experience or a free family-friendly dive into American history, the museum has something for everyone this Independence Day.

Red, White, & View

Skip the crowded sidewalks this year and watch the parade in style! Our Red, White, & View event offers a bird's-eye view of the parade from our conference gallery, complete with an Americana themed lunch and museum admission included with your ticket.

It's a comfortable and unique way to enjoy the festivities with family and friends. Tickets are $35 for non-members and $20 for members.

Voices for Freedom 2026

Looking for a free way to celebrate? Our Voices for Freedom program, made possible through the North Carolina 250th America Grant, brings American history to life through guided tours led by expert historical interpreters! The program runs from 10AM to 5PM and is completely free to attend. At 11AM, a costumed interpreter will deliver a live reading of the Declaration of Independence to kick off the parade.

Whether you're joining us for one event or both, we'd love to help you make this Independence Day one to remember. We hope to see you on the 4th!
