THE SPIRITS ARE WAKING…

Who’s ready to meet our more… permanent residents?

The 2026 Season of the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History's Ghost Tours will begin on Friday May 1 at 8pm and continue though November.

Downtown Mount Airy Ghost Tours

Historic Mount Airy Ghost Tours will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings from 8pm until 9:30pm.  Join us for an exciting 90 minute, lantern-lit walking tour through Mount Airy's streets and it's historic past.  You will hear about 13 of our "less mortal" friends and some of Mount Airy's resting places.

Tours begin at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History, 301 N. Main Street.  Wear comfortable shoes and bring your camera and umbrella, if needed.

Tickets are $20 (tax included) and advance purchase is recommended!

The stories blend entertainment and history but remember that ghosts are sometimes associated with traumatic circumstances.

This is a walking tour, but all areas are handicapped-accessible.  It is not recommended for extremely young children, or those who need to use a walker

Ghost Trolley Tours

Good Time Trolleys and the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History are teaming up to offer Ghost Trolley Tours this season. Join us as we visit off-site locations and tell a whole new set of spooky stories.

Tours begin at the Museum, 301 North Main Street and last 60 minutes. Tour spots are limited so book early. Tours are held on the first Saturday of the month beginning on Saturday May 2. PLUS…. we’re adding an EXTRA trolley on Halloween night!

All trolley tours start at 8pm. Tickets are $35 (Tax Included).

Pilot Mountain Ghost Tours

Are you looking for more Ghosts?  Don't miss the Pilot Mountain Ghost Tours held the first Friday of every month May through November. This 60-minute tour will lead guests through Downtown Pilot Mountain where you will hear stories of murder, aliens, and maybe even bigfoot!

The tour begins at The Grove Teas and Botanical Gifts located at 127 W. Main Street in Pilot Mountain at 8pm. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your camera and umbrella, if needed. Tours are rain or shine.

Tickets are $20 (Tax Included) and advance purchase is recommended!

If you have any questions, feel free to call, message, or email us. Call the Museum at 336-786-4478 or click the above link to make your reservations.  Pre-paid reservations are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date during the season.

More locations… more stories… more chills.

Whether you’re walking under lantern light or riding into the unknown… this season is going to be bigger, better, and just a little more haunted.
