Critter Camp - Discover the Animal Kingdom


Running from June 8th to June 12th, Critter Camp welcomes children aged 6 to 9 to explore the fascinating world of animals. Each day focuses on a different group of creatures, including mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians. Campers will learn about animal habitats, behaviors, and adaptations through interactive activities, crafts, and games.

From June 22nd to June 26th, Earth Explorers Camp invites kids aged 10 to 13 to uncover the secrets of our planet. This afternoon camp runs from 1 PM to 5 PM and covers exciting topics like rocks and minerals, volcanoes, and fossils. Campers will engage in experiments, field activities, and museum tours that bring geology to life.

Hometown Historian Camp - Explore Local Heritage


Scheduled for July 6th through July 10th, Hometown Historian Camp offers children aged 10 to 13 a chance to dive into the rich history of Mount Airy and the surrounding region. Campers will explore local art, music, landmarks, and the role of museums in preserving history.

Time Traveler Camp - Explore History Across Ages


Time Traveler Camp runs from July 20th to July 26th and is designed for children aged 6 to 9. This morning camp, from 9 AM to 1 PM, takes campers on a journey through different historical periods, from prehistory to modern times. Each day features a new era, with activities that bring history to life through crafts, stories, and interactive lessons.
