Would you like to work on your family history but you just don't know where to begin? Have you been working on your Family History and hit a brick wall? Come to the Museum Thursday evening, June 20 and we'll work together to get you started or to see if we can chip away at that brick wall together. If you're just getting started, bring what you know about your family members. Names, Maiden names if you know them, Birth dates even if all you can do is guess at what year they were born, Where they were born, lived, or died, Who they were married to, Who their children were .... As much as you know. The more info you have, the easier it will be to start. However, if all you know is that Granny and Pappaw were Thelma and Caleb Hicks and they lived near Cana about 70 years ago, we'll work with that. If you're stuck, bring what you have. Maybe a fresh set of eyes will see something you've missed or, perhaps, we can find new way to tease out information. Bring your laptops if you use them. We have wifi and a big screen to cast onto so everyone can see easily. Cost: $5 Date: June 20 Time: 5pm-8pm Where: Mount Airy Museum of Regional History Conference Room
