Eclipse Viewing

On Monday, August 21, 2017, all of North America will be treated to an eclipse of the sun. Observers in Mount Airy will be able to view a 93.76% total eclipse of the sun!
Join us to make a historic pinhole projector and then use it to safely view the eclipse!  You will also learn about the science and history of solar eclipses. The partial eclipse will begin at 1:11pm and end at 4:02pm. The maximum eclipse will peak at 2:40pm.
This event will take place at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History (301 N. Main Street, Mount Airy, NC, 27030).
FREE for members OR with paid museum admission, $5 supply fee for those without museum admission.
