In partnership with the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Services, Museum on Main Street, and the North Carolina Humanities Council, the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History is the statewide launch site for this traveling exhibit. It will travel to five other sites throughout North Carolina in 2015. The Museum will be open from 10am – 5pm and admission is Free on opening day.

2pm History Talks: Hometown Teams Statewide Humanities Scholar, Pamela Grundy presents "Back Then, That Was the Thing to Do" - North Carolina's Women's Basketball 1923-1960.
