MAMRH - Mount Airy Museum of Regional History

 The Mount Airy Museum of Regional History will host a Cigar Box Guitar "Build and Learn-to-Play" Workshop with musician Mike Lowe on Saturday November 15 from 10am until 4pm.  During the morning session, Mike Lowe will teach you how to make your cigar box guitar from a kit available through the museum.  Lunch will be on your own from 12:30 until 1:30 (this will allow time for the glue to set up)  During the afternoon session, Mike will teach the participants how to play their cigar box guitar.   The cost of the workshop which includes the kit is $75 for Museum Members and $100 for non-Members.  There is a limit of 12 participants in this workshop, so make your reservation ASAP by calling the Museum at 336-786-4478.
