This course, taught by local genealogist Esther Johnson, will be a five-part series designed for the individual who is interested in researching his/her family tree. The classes will be held on Tuesday February 16, 23, March 2, 9 and 16. The first two classes will be held in the Museum Classroom from 7 - 8 pm. Please use the Oak Street side entrance. The third class on March 2 will be held at the Surry County Register of Deeds Office in Dobson from 6 - 8pm and the fourth class on March 9 will be held at The Carlos Surratt Genealogy Room at Surry Community College in Dobson from 6-8pm. The final class on March 16 will be back at the Museum Classroom from 7 - 8pm. There will be a small fee of $25 for the entire course ($5 per class.) Museum members will not be charged.
