Sunday March 28, 2010 2:00 - 4:00pm Museum Annex & Robert Smith Memorial Park
The Mount Airy Museum of Regional History and the Gilmer-Smith Foundation are teaming up to provide an Easter experience children will not want to miss! The Museum Annex will be the setting for our Easter Hat and History workshop. Children will construct their own hat or bonnet to celebrate the season. Then, at approximately 3:15, the children will don their hats and promenade up Main Street to the Robert Smith Memorial Part for an Easter Egg Hunt. Light refreshments will be provided following the hunt. This event is free for Museum members and $5 for non-members. Children of all ages are welcome, however children under the age of 6 should have an adult in attendance. Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited.
